Dr. Hamdan Noor is currently a Professor of Medical Physiology, Faculty of Medicine in Cyberjaya University
College of Medical Science. He did his post-graduate studies in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Biochemistry,
John Radcliffe Hospital, University of Oxford. He had also served in the Medical Faculties of Universiti Putra MODULE 1
Malaysia and SEGi University. His vast experience in teaching Medical Physiology enabled him to author a number
of series of Medical Physiology modules including Introductory Medical Physiology, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular
System, Musculoskeletal System, Respiratory System, Nervous System, Gastrointestinal System, and Urinary
System series. The modules in each series are designed to help the students acquire knowledge via the Introductory Medical Physiology

“student-centred learning” approach where they would explore physiological principles themselves by working
through the Learning Activities generously provided in each of the Modules. Clinical examples are appropriately
embedded in the Learning Activities to stimulate application of physiological principles in real life situations.
Students of Medical Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Biomedical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, etc.) Cells & Medical
